Lots of people want to improve the texture of their skin and to reduce the signs of ageing, scars or blemishes. Chemical peels can help to restore a younger, fresher appearance by removing a layer of skin with a chemical preparation. As the skin grows back, it is smoother than before and imperfections are reduced.
There are various types of chemical peel - superficial, medium and deep - and they achieve different results. Superficial chemical peels are quick to apply and the time needed for healing is minimal, and can be performed once per week. Medium chemical peels can achieve better and longer lasting results for blemishes, fine lines and facial scarring. A deep peel will achieve a more dramatic effect and help reduce more severe facial wrinkles and hyper-pigmentation. It will also improve elasticity and tone. The deeper the peel the better the results.
The selected peel will be applied to your face for an appropriate amount of time and then it will be removed.
The recovery time depends on the type of peel you've had. It can take a couple of weeks before you can resume normal activities after a medium or deep peel and even after this time your skin may still be quite red.

GLYCOLIC SKIN PEEL
Treats acne, fine lines, open pores, hyperpigmentation, and keeps the skin healthy. It brightens all skin types, particularly dull oily skin. This mildest peel has no down time, doesn’t hurt, and peeling is not visible. This is a good preventative treatment for younger and older skins.
The treatment lasts 30 – 45mins.
Can have 1/week or 1/month depending on skin.

PUMPKIN PEEL
Treats acne, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, keeps skin healthy. It closes large pores and brightens all skin types particularly dull oily thick skin. It works faster and deeper than a glycolic peel. The skin might peel a bit, but should be better within 1 week. No time is needed off work.
Stinging is minimal, The treatment lasts approx 45 – 60mins
Can have 1 treatment or course of 3, 1/fortnight,

TCA 7% PEEL
This medium/deep peel treats fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sun damaged skin, and open pores. It tones and softens the skin, giving clarity of colour. It is a strong peel, and does sting, skin should be healed in 5 – 7 days, you may need 2 – 3 days off work or to recover over a weekend
Only one peel per 6 months is possible.
Treatment lasts approx 60 – 90 mins

TCA 15% BLUE PEEL
This deep peel treats sun damage, hyperpigmentation, lines, wrinkles,
It is good for dull, aged, sun damaged skin. It tones, softens and clarifies the skin.
It is quite painful, stings and you will feel a hot sensation, skin may look red, dry and browner for 2 weeks,
Might need 1 week off work.
Only one treatment is necessary, can have another in 1 – 2 years.
Treatment lasts approx one & half – two hours
No active acne patients, No Fitzpatrick III or darker, Not suitable for patients under 30 years old.
