Anti Ageing
Skin Rejuvenation

As we grow older our skin will deteriorate in its strength, texture and elasticity. This is an inevitable consequence of the ageing body's diminishing ability to produce rejuvenating collagen.
A key structural component of connective tissue, collagen is produced naturally by the skin's cells - as it is needed. Unfortunately, damaged collagen will not be replaced so readily as we grow older - thus, skin irregularities and wrinkles will start to appear. Over time wrinkles will widen and deepen and the whole degenerative process will be greatly accelerated by exposure to sun, environmental pollution and smoking.
We offer two types of skin rejuvenation:-
The NLite Skin Rejuvenation Treatment
The NLITE laser is a high density, focused beam working at only top skin layers. The highly sensitive lower epidermis and surrounding tissues, are not affected in any way. There is no burning of the skin and, consequently, no discolouration or swelling of the treated areas.
Prior to your treatment, our qualified practitioners will carefully test your skin's suitability and determine the precise beam calibration for your skin type. Most skin types including most darker tones, can be treated. No anaesthetic is necessary.
A laser is then directed over the selected skin area and pulse beams applied. These pulses will be in milliseconds and you will only notice a series of light flashes. The pulses may feel a little hot and you may notice a slight tingling sensation.
A treatment session will typically take between just 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of area to be treated. We usually treat the whole face for best results.
Because there is no healing 'down time', you will be able to maintain your normal social and business life immediately after treatment. Exposure to sunshine after treatment is permitted - if you so desire, but we always strongly recommend the use of a sun screen.
For skin rejuvenation we recommend a minimum course of 5 treatments at intervals of 2-4 weeks. After this time you will be advised as to whether a 6 or 9 monthly maintenance treatment is appropriate to keep your skin at its best.
The cost of NLITE Skin Rejuvenation is £160 per treatment.
We recommend that you have 5 Treatments, 2-4 weeks apart.
Many people in their mid-thirties and older are now suffering from sun-damaged facial skin which can present itself in many forms: wrinkles and fine lines are often accompanied by dry and rough skin, mottled skin tone and areas of abnormal pigmentation. Age or sun spots are common, vascular irregularities such as rosacea and broken veins can also contribute to skin tone irregularities.
Recently, intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment has proved highly successful in the treatment of superficial pigmented and vascular lesions. This, combined with IPL delivered at a different wavelength to stimulate the production of collagen and elastic and a series of light glycolic peels or microdermabrasion greatly improves the overall appearance and condition of the skin.
Treatment takes the form of two courses of treatment; the first to remove excess pigment and thread veins and the second to improve skin condition and appearance.
The cost of Photo-rejuvenation is £150 per treatment or £1,350 for a course of 10 treatments
