Fillers

Dermal Fillers are used to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and folds. They can be used to plump up your lips, increase cheek volume or remove hollows. They can also be used to reshape your nose or soften ugly scarring. Dermal fillers are made from a variety of materials and the effects can be either temporary or permanent, depending on the type of filler.

At the London Day Surgery Centre we have experienced and highly qualified practitioners that perform professional dermal filler treatment, giving you just the look you want. We will take care of you, advising you on which type of filler is best for you and ensuring your treatment is effective and safe.

During your treatment the practitioner injects the filler and the area is gently massaged. Some treatments require the application of a local anaesthetic cream while some solutions contain an anaesthetic, which makes the treatment more comfortable. Sometimes the nurses may use an infiltration anaesthesia to aid comfort. The treatment time can vary between 30 minutes to an hour.

Afterwards the area may be a little swollen, red and tender for 24 hours. Occasionally a bruise may last for up to four days.

At the London Day Surgery Centre we use the following types of Dermal Fillers:

Juvéderm ® ULTRA

Juvéderm ® ULTRA is a range of advanced formula, smooth-consistency natural gels which are injected to restore volume, fill fine lines, wrinkles and folds and redefine the lips. Unlike other fillers, Juvéderm® Ultra is not granular which means that it flows easily into the skin to bring about smooth, natural-looking results.

Juvéderm ® Ultra is also special because it contains a pain reliever, Lidocaine, which helps make the treatment process comfortable.

The cost of Juvéderm® Ultra is £330 per 1.1ml

Radiesse ®

Radiesse ® is an injectable implant which is soft, safe, simple and immediately effective. The cream-like texture of Radiesse® stays soft, feels natural and remains in place for approximately one year.

Radiesse ® is made up of synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. It is ideal for treating deep nab-labial folds, cheek enhancement, jowls depressions at the edges of the mouth and smile lines.

The cost of Radiesse® is £400 per 1.3 ml

Restylane ®

Restylane® is available in three tissue-tailored variants, each specially designed for a particular different purpose and effect such as smoothing out tiny lines, shaping facial contours or sculpting lips to perfection. The difference between the products is the gel-particle size. To achieve optimum results, your practitioner chooses the product or combination that best matches your skin and personal needs.

Depending on the effects you wish to achieve, the initial treatment is best maintained with occasional follow-up treatments.

Restylane Lidocaine has an anaesthetic in it called Lidocaine which makes the treatment more comfortable.

The cost of Restylane® Lidocaine is £310 per 1ml
The cost of Restylane® Perlane Lidocaine is £335 per 1ml
